[Contents]
- A grand total of 33 (!) backgrounds in 3 widescreen resolutions [4K (3840x2160), 1440p (2560x1440), 1080p (1920x1080p)], which include:
* Rebuilt (from scratch) Counter-Strike 1 Anthology DVD case as a background (with 7 variants);
* 23 different backgrounds from 7 different Counter-Strike games (CS, Condition Zero, Source, Global Offensive, Online, Online 2, Nexon: Studio);
* Background from the Paranoia Mod for Half-Life, 2 backgrounds from Battlefield 3 and 1 background from World War 3.

[BONUS CONTENT]
- Original .png files in all 3 resolutions, sorted and catalogued with complete bibliography, for use outside the game as your desktop's wallpaper or any other purpose;
- Counter-Strike 1 Anthology Steam Grid icon to replace your Steam Library cover;
* To install, right-click the game in your Steam Library then go Manage > Set custom artwork.
- Original (1.0 to 1.5) Counter-Strike background taken directly from a version of the 1.0 client, in its original 640x480 resolution (and in .png format) and also an AI upscaled 2560x1920 version!;
- High quality photos of the Counter-Strike 1 Anthology DVD.

[Install Instructions]
- Go into the "Background Gallery" folder and choose your desired background;
- Go into the "In-Game Background Files" folder and choose your desired resolution (pick the one you have the game running at, which should be your monitor's native resolution);
- Choose the specific background you want;
- Copy the follwing files and folder: BackgroundLayout.txt, BackgroundLoadingLayout.txt, background (folder);
- Paste them in the in the "Resource" Folder. It should look something like "\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike\resource";
You can right-click the game in your Steam Library then go Manage > Browse Local Files for easier access.

[Notes]
- If you pick a background from a resolution that is not the one your game is running at you can expect it to be stretched or compressed in a weird way;
- Most backgrounds where edited and upscaled in some form or another. I tried my best to prevent any quality loss but you should NOT expect perfect, raw quality for ANY of the resolutions I am releasing them in as it took some clever trickery (and help from AI) to even get them at above-decent quality at such high resolutions;
- I have the Counter-Strike 1 Anthology and Counter-Strike: Source games on DVD and used them as visual reference;
- The Counter-Strike 1 Anthology backgrounds where hand-drawn by me and completely remade from scratch, I had to scour the internet to actually find the fonts used and even so I had to try to mimick some due to lack of information;
- The following fonts where used to recreate the "Counter-Strike™ 1 Anthology" logo:
