Namalsk A3 Back Entrance (PC) for DayZ
V1 release 28/05/2024
[Contents]
- DayZ Editor file (.dze) that is the actual map edit;
- Additional configuration files so that the new "buildings" spawn loot and a new static contaminated area is created;
- READ ME.txt file with important info and credits;
- INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS.txt file with highly detailed but easy to understand install instructions with links to video guides and troubleshooting documentation;
- Promotional images.
[Added buildings]
- Climbable ladder that lets you go inside the A3 sewer tunnels;
- Static Contaminated Area starting outside the rail tunnel under the mountain where A3 is located;
- Several props, vehicle wrecks and cargo containers (they do not spawn loot).
[Description]
- This map edit allows you to entirely skip going into A2 in order to enter A3. However, this doesn't make it any easier, per se, as you will be in a continuous gas zone from the entrance of the rail tunnel all the way to the portal room;
- Going to A3 is thusly balanced in a new way:
* Option 1: go via the portal and use vastly fewer resources (gas mask filters or charcoal tablets and bottles) but be on a strict timer while running through heavy PvP areas with bears and zombies;
* Option 2: use a very large amount of resources (gas mask filters or charcoal tablets and bottles), that reduces your inventory space, while going through a gas zone in which you can easily get lost and die in the tunnels towards the lab.
- Getting out of A3 is incentivized to be done via Lanthia which, in turn, will result in players being teleported to a random spot on the map.
- One is more predictable, the other is not. None is safe or a cakewalk.

- I troubleshooted the installation, even the "Lazy Mode" and it does work.
- Feedback is highly encouraged.
